While this cake didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned, it was still beautiful... and even made the local news!

This was the sample cake I made for the Bride & Groom-to-be to get an idea of what kind of cake I could make for them. They loved it, but told me they want 3 square tiers, the colors red, white & blue, gold accents and the rest was up to my discretion. As it was a 4th of July cake, I was going to put fireworks on it, but I'm glad I didn't as they were restricted at the Fort Vancouver Fireworks Show, where the wedding & reception took place.
