80s Theme Birthday
These cakes were for a woman born in 1982, so what better way to celebrate her 27th birthday than with a trio of appropriately themed cakes.
Doll Cake
Doll cakes were at their height in the 1980s, and the birthday girl loves chocolate, so I made this one with my Death By Chocolate cake.
Popple Cake
This is P.C. Popple, one of the many colorful characters from the 80s that tied cartoons and toys into a happy little package. I used the colors of P.C. on the other two cakes to coordinate the trio.
Butterfly
While technically this isn't really 80s themed, the butterfly pan is from the 80s, so I just made rainbow wings to tie into the other cakes. Plus, the birthday girl LOVES butterflies!
