The Women's Fellowship Group at our church was hosting a wedding shower for our pastor's fiance, and asked me to make cupcakes. They had just asked for some spring colors and flowers, and didn't really have any specific input other than that. Well, one Sunday I showed up at church with a pink shirt, brown tie and wearing my pink and brown Converse shoes, and our pastor's fiance giggled with glee exclaiming those were their wedding colors. Needless to say, I decided it would be more than appropriate to use those same colors for the wedding shower too!

Death by Chocolate, Strawberry with Cream Cheese Icing, and Super Vanillalicious, all topped with matching fondant daisies.

When I went to set up the cupcakes, they only had a silver tray that held about half of the cupcakes, and I wanted to do something creative with the rest of them. So off to the church kitchen I went in search of something attractive to use for the remainder. I knew we had two different sized bowls and plates, and was hoping for a large white platter for the base, but there wasn't one, so I decided to just place cupcakes in a circle under the dinner plate as if there was a base. Sometimes you've got to use what you've got!
